BENEFICIAL INSECTS – GARDEN WARRIORS

Gardeners focus on insects that eat their plants without paying attention to insects that act as warriors in the garden by either eating the bad bugs or parasitizing them. Learn about the most common beneficial insects and never accidentally kill a good bug again. Presented by a University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener.

We are the Hoffman Estates Garden Club (HEGC), working since 1957 to promote an interest in gardening and share our knowledge.  Click here to read the article, “The History of the Hoffman Estates Garden Club” posted in the  March/April 2022 issue of the Hoffman Estates Citizen newsletter.

COME CHECK US OUT!

Monthly meetings take place the first Thursday of the month (as noted on our Events page) at Township of Schaumburg building, One Illinois Boulevard, 1st Floor, Hoffman Estates, IL
